Dear Delegates and Esteemed Guests,

Peace is one of the most important goals of the United Nations, and in our present world it has become something increasingly scarce. To achieve it requires compromise, dialogue, and compassion. Unfortunately, an increasing number of global leaders see war as the preferred path to their objectives, selecting it over diplomacy.

But hope for peace persists through us, the generation of the future. We, as delegates of the Model United Nations, have chosen diplomacy. After all, that is the spirit of the MUN, to discuss and debate for a better, more prosperous, and peaceful tomorrow.

On this note, we warmly welcome you to join us in the fourth edition of the PaMUN conference at the Alfragide Campus of PaRK International School from the 16th to the 17th of October 2026. We ask that you come ready to negotiate, compromise, and solve some of the world’s most pressing issues. As the leaders of tomorrow, we have a duty to envision and create a better future for those who will come after us, and every clause, every POI, and every speech will make a difference. At this year’s conference, choose diplomacy delegates. Choose Peace.
